Installation
How to use
Once installed, the /dict
slash command is available to your team with the following syntax:
/dict <code> <word to translate>
<code>
consist of 4 characters, representing the two languages to translate between.
Supported languages
⬌ French
/dict enfr <english to french> or
/dict fren <french to english>
⬌ German
/dict ende <english to german> or
/dict deen <german to english>

Privacy policy
Information collected
When you install /dict
, I only collect 2 pieces of information:
- your Slack team name.
- your Slack team identifier.
I do not collect email addresses, usernames, or any other personal information. Nor do I collect the authentication token used to install the application.
Security
I do not store these data on my own: it's posted in a private channel of my private Slack team. This private channel is only visible by me, and I won't ever invite anyone else in it (user or bot).
Use of information
When you use the /dict <code>
slash command, I store the
<code>
used in order to know which languages are the most used.
I do not collect, store or care which words you translate.
Your privacy using /dict
All translations posted by /dict
are visible by all channel members the command
is issued from. If you wish to use it privately, you need to use it in a private channel, or in the Slackbot
channel.

This website makes use of Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc.
You can opt-out from Google Analytics service from using your information by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser tool.
